How to Do a Cable Kickback

Set an adjustable cable pulley low and attach a D-handle or cuff.

Stand facing the machine and hold the attachment in one hand.

Hinge forward until the cable can travel cleanly behind you.

Pull the upper arm close to the torso with the elbow bent.

About Cable Kickback

The cable kickback is a unilateral triceps isolation exercise performed from a low or adjustable pulley while the torso is hinged forward. Unlike a dumbbell kickback, the cable can provide resistance from the start of the repetition and through a different line of pull. The upper arm should remain relatively stable while the elbow extends backward.
